In the dialog "Your Stylo," you can make your personal settings for the Stylo. You can find the dialog under the info button of Stylo.
The settings are stored in the browser environment. They will be deleted when you clear "Website Data" in the browser. However, you can back up and restore your settings using the "Save/Load" function.
Appearance
Control Characters
With this setting, the visibility of control characters such as paragraph ends or section breaks can be defined.
Ruler
Activate this function if you want the ruler to be visible by default in your interface.
Guidelines
Usually, the guidelines of text frames are hidden – if you want to see them permanently, you can activate them here.
Help Lines If you want the help lines to be visible by default, you can activate this option.
Text AI Icons
If there are Text AI Actions stored in a template, they will be represented by icons. You can decide whether these icons should be displayed.
Image AI Icons
If there are Image AI Actions stored in a template, they will be represented by icons. You can decide whether these icons should be displayed.
Show Tool Tips
When hovering over icons and certain labels in Stylo, small help texts will be displayed. Experienced users may find this distracting and can turn off this support.
Zoom
Select your default zoom factor.
Theme
You can change the color theme for the Stylo. Please note that this does not affect the coloring of warning and success messages of the Stylo. Only the normal message boxes will be displayed in the theme color.
Startup Parameters
Show Exceptions
Usually, internal errors of the Stylo are hidden. This is also because they often do not affect the operation of the program. Nevertheless, it can be helpful to display the error message. The display can be enabled via the checkbox.
Reopen
In this section, you can specify which palettes should remember their activation state. This makes it possible for a palette to be restored upon reopening. If such a palette was last opened, it will be reloaded when opening the same or another document. If it was closed before the last document was closed in Stylo, it will not be opened automatically.
Save/Load
Your settings for the Stylo are stored in your browser. If the browser caches are cleared, your settings may also disappear. To prevent this, you can save the settings in a file.
Through this dialog, you can also restore the settings.
