In this catalog, you can manage the color gradients for the document. The creation and management are accessed through the display menu in the toolbar under the item "Gradient Catalog."
The selection is made through the catalog, but is also available in the color tab. Color gradients can only be applied to graphic objects – they do not affect text and images. A color gradient can be removed by selecting "No Gradient" or choosing a different color.
Overview
This short video shows you how to create a color gradient:

Adding/Editing a Color Gradient
Through this dialog, color gradients can be created and modified.
Name
Name of the color gradient
Type
Type of the color gradient – options are linear and radial.
Angle
Defines the direction of the gradient for linear gradients.
Slider Field
Here, the start and end color can be set. To set the color, click on one of the sliders and then determine the color or the start or end value.
Using the slider in the middle (green bordered), the midpoint of the gradient can be determined. By default, it is set to 50%.
Position
For the selected control, the position can be determined in percentage.
Color Field
Opens the color dialog to select the color for the start or endpoint.
Furthermore, it is possible to create color gradients that go into transparency.
In the example, a layer was placed over the image that transitions from transparent white to black. The gradient starts after more than three-quarters of the height and has its focus at the midpoint of the actual gradient.
