This function allows you to group two or more objects in Stylo. The grouping can be done via the context menu and the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + g.
Elements within a group can still be edited. To add new elements to a group, the group must first be dissolved. Grouping groups is not intended.
Selection
A group can reliably be selected by holding down the Ctrl key. If you click within the area of a group with the mouse, the group will only be selected if there is no object of the group positioned at that spot. Groups can also be easily identified and selected via the layers palette.
If you want to select a single element of the group, click on the object with the mouse. If the group has already been selected beforehand, the Ctrl key will help with this.
Highlighting
When you highlight a group, it receives a thin orange border.
If a single object is selected within the group, the group receives a thicker border, and the member of the group is marked with a thinner line.
