The call is made through the settings menu, which you can find in the toolbar under this icon:
With the release functionality, images are placed into an editing workflow and can be converted into the appropriate color space or otherwise optimized.
Only images that are in an image frame can be passed to the workflow. This function is only available in collaboration with a suitable image system. Please note that the corresponding workflows must be set up for use in this.
The image that you want to release must be positioned in an image frame, and this frame must not have been rotated.
During the image release, the image is cropped, a new image is created from it, and this is passed to the image workflow for editing. The optimization only takes place on the image section. If you want to change the image section afterwards, you must load the original image again using the "Revert" function.
Grant Release
The image is passed to the workflow and edited there. The exchange of the images may occur subsequently.
Revert
The original image is loaded. The originally chosen crop is lost with this function, and the image must be cropped again.
You can access the image release through the context menu. The following dialog will then open:
The image has not yet been sent to the release workflow.
The image has been cropped to the image frame geometry.
The image has been processed by the image workflow.
The processing could not be completed successfully.
A spinner indicates which process step the image processing is currently in.
If the display of control characters is activated, the release of an image is indicated by a green dot in the image.
In the administration of Stylo, standard workflows for color and grayscale images can be defined. If an image is not explicitly released, an automatic release occurs through Stylo as soon as the document is saved. For this, the automatic image workflows must have been adjusted in the administration.
