Copying and pasting is done using the keyboard commands Ctrl + c and Ctrl + v. The function is not accessible through the context menu or the toolbar.
With version 2024.8, copying between different documents is possible. The texts and objects are copied to the clipboard in the Local Storage of the browser and are retrieved by Stylo when needed. The following aspects should be considered when copying and pasting.
- If a document is closed and a new one is opened, the paste function can be used without any problems.
- If something is copied in one document and a new browser is opened, the content can be accessed without any issues.
- Stylo documents opened in other tabs and windows must be reopened to allow access. The reason is that browsers manage their own Local Storage for each individual window and tab, which cannot be updated by other tabs and windows.
