With aDAM version 2025.7, the view for editing search profiles has been completely redesigned. This restructuring also results in changes to the URL used to access the new overview page of the search profiles.
The overview page is still accessible via the main navigation "Search Profiles" in the menu item "Edit Search Profiles...". The page is opened via ".../atlasassetmanager/#/profiles".
Overview Page
The list shows
- Your own search profiles
- Search profiles created by me (current user)
- Search profiles shared with me (current user)
- Global search profiles
- All search profiles
The section "All search profiles" is only available if the current user has been assigned the right "REDWEB_AAM_SHOW_ALL_SEARCHPROFILES".
Filtering and Sorting
The result list can be filtered using the input field in the upper right corner. The filter is the name of the search profile. Below that, there is a selection component for sorting the list of search profiles.
Select Search Profiles
Selecting one or more search profiles is done by marking the checkbox in the corresponding row of the list with the search profiles. Alternatively, the checkbox at the top of the list can also be clicked. This allows all search profiles to be selected or the entire selection to be removed with one click. This checkbox has a third state (-) if not all search profiles in the list are marked.
Once a selection has been made, a series of buttons for editing, deleting, and executing search profiles will be visible above the list.
Please note: Editing a search profile regarding metadata such as name, description, etc. is only possible for a selected search profile. This also applies to executing a search profile.
Edit Search Profile
To edit a search profile:
- Mark the search profile and click the edit button or
- Double-click on the row of the desired search profile
In addition to the name and description, as well as the information about who or which group the search profile should be shared with, you can also change:

- Element type (all element types or exactly one, e.g., photos or articles)
Please note: Only metadata of the search profile can be changed through this dialog. Changing the search query itself or the search criteria is not possible. To change the search criteria in the search profile, proceed as follows: 1. Select the search profile 2. Execute the search profile 3. Adjust the search criteria 4. Execute the search 5. Save the search profile (left sidebar)
Delete Search Profile
To delete a search profile:
- Mark the search profile by row and click the delete button or

Execute Search Profile
To execute a search profile, it must first be selected. The button to execute will be activated above the list. When this button is clicked, the search profile is executed and the result is displayed in the "Search" view.
Show Results but Do Not Execute Search Profile
For a marked search profile, the fourth button can be used to display the number of results that would result from executing the search profile.
